Visit some of the beautiful beaches when traveling to Cozumel Island! Some may be more difficult to access, but all offer stunning scenery and wonderful experiences for cruise passengers.
Cozumel features three cruise ports: Punta Langosta in San Miguel’s downtown district, International Pier three miles out, and Carnival Corporation’s Puerta Maya five miles outside of town.

Cozumel Island is a popular cruise ship stopover and tourist destination known for its turquoise water and white-sand beaches. However, not all beaches in Cozumel can boast postcard-worthy settings.
The western side of the island features several rocky beaches that may not be ideal for swimming and snorkeling, making for an unrelaxing experience. Playa Palancar offers another secluded Cozumel beach for those seeking peace and quiet: 20 minutes south from the cruise port by taxi and well known for its diving opportunities – reaching up to 200 feet deep waters!
