Is Punta Langosta The Cruise Terminal for NCL in Cozumel?

The Punta Langosta cruise terminal is the third cruise port in Cozumel. It is located downtown and is home to the terminals of Norwegian Cruise Line and Disney Cruise Line. Its convenient location makes it a popular port for sightseeing, as restaurants, bars, and shops are all within walking distance.
The Norwegian Gem departed the Port Miami terminal on August 15, 2021 and docked at the Punta Langosta cruise pier on August 20 of the same year. This marks the start of a new era for the cruise industry, with more ships coming to the port since the Covid shutdown. However, with the increasing popularity of cruising, cruise lines are staying true to what works.
The Punta Langosta cruise terminal is a convenient location because it is close to the downtown area. The Punta Langosta terminal is also used by ferries and by several cruise lines, including Disney, NCL, MSC, Silversea, and Oceania. The terminal is connected to a shopping mall by an overpass.

Is Puerta Maya a Cruise Port for Norwegian?

Located at the far west of the island, Cozumel’s Port of Puerta Maya is a popular destination for cruise ships. It is the farthest port in Cozumel, being five miles from San Miguel. Normally, only Carnival Corp-affiliated cruise ships dock here. The Cozumel cruise port has shops, restaurants, and shows for cruise passengers.
The cruise center is home to forty-two retail outlets, including Goodmark Jewelers, Del Sol, Piranha Joe’s, Diamonds International, and Dufry. There are also fifteen stand-alone carts where local merchants sell their handmade crafts. In addition to the shops and restaurants, the Puerta Maya complex also features the Tres Amigos Bar, named after the hit movie Tres Amigos, which serves traditional Mexican cuisine and a large beverage menu.
The Puerta Maya Cruise Port is the most beautiful in Cozumel, with an impressive pyramid fountain in the center of the port. The pyramid fountain was designed to mimic the ruins of Chichen Itza and is a beautiful sight to behold. The pier has an additional pier for water taxis and other water transport vehicles.

Is the Five Sons Shopping Center Near the NCL Port?

Cozumel is a beautiful island, and the port area is filled with shops and restaurants. The port area was built for the passengers of cruise ships and is open whenever the ship docks in Cozumel. There are many souvenir shops here, but prices tend to be higher than in San Miguel.  There is no Five Sons Shopping Center on the island.
The port area is connected by a long paved pier. It leads to the main shopping area, where visitors can find international and local brands. Unlike the other shopping areas in the area, the shopping center is air-conditioned, which is a welcome relief from the intense heat of Cozumel. Guests can also purchase authentic Mayan crafts.
The port is also home to El Mercado, the largest fruit market in Cozumel. Freshly squeezed juices are available for purchase. Also in the port, visitors can visit El Museo, an oceanfront museum. Artifacts from archeological sites and famous local paintings are on display.</p
