The cruise terminal is located near many other tourist attractions, including Chankanaab National Park. It’s also convenient to the beachfront shopping and restaurants in San Miguel. You can also enjoy zip line activities, bury your toes in the sand, and explore nearby Mayan ruins.

If you’re arriving by cruise ship, you can get a taxi to the terminal from any one of the nearby piers. However, it’s best to know which pier is closest to your cruise ship. Most taxi drivers know where the ships dock, so note the name of the port on your taxi receipt.

The Cozumel Mexico cruise terminal is close to San Miguel town. All major companies have offices there, and the town is small and walkable. The main plaza is home to most tourist shops. A taxi ride to downtown San Miguel is relatively inexpensive, and there is a taxi rank right in front of the pier. If you decide to rent a car, the nearest car rental offices are about five blocks away.

The Cozumel Pier is home to several stores and has plenty of internationally recognized brands. Another interesting shop is Los Cincos Soles, which offers authentic wares from all parts of Mexico. The store is air-conditioned, which is important during the hot summer in Cozumel. You can also purchase authentic Mayan crafts.
