Are Lenny’s Kosher Mexican Enchiladas Authentic?

Lenny’s Casita is a Los Angeles kosher restaurant that’s serving up a whole lot of fusion and home-made tastes. You can get a bite to eat in the dining room or order a takeout meal. The menu has a good mix of classic Mexican street food and kosher favorites. It’s also got a fun and laid back atmosphere.
Lenny’s Casita has an online menu that’s available for delivery and pickup. In addition, the restaurant offers drone delivery, which is a relatively new technology.
Arayis are pitas filled with Mediterranean spiced ground beef. They are served with pico de gallo and guacamole. However, it’s the lamb shwarma taco that has caught the most buzz. This dish isn’t exactly the usual beef and tomato but is more of a Middle Eastern-meets-Mexico fusion.
Aside from a lame looking t-shirt, you can find a number of interesting and tasty items on the menu. If you’re in the mood for something a little more substantial, try the Bazaar Bowl, described as the ultimate Mediterranean bowl. The best part is that you can have this meal delivered to your door. That’s a win for everyone.
One of the more unusual things about Lenny’s is that the restaurant has a special “Casita” section of the menu, which features gourmet Mexicali-style meat dishes. There’s also an all-day breakfast and brunch menu. Among other foods, you’ll find a good selection of waffles and brisket, as well as black beans and Mexican rice.
Other notable menu items include a fried chicken sandwich, a chipotle honey wing, and a few other tidbits. The best part about this restaurant is that it’s affordable and serves a good mix of fine dining and casual food.

What Are the Best Kosher Mexican Dishes at Klein’s?

Kosher Mexican food can be hard to come by in the United States. However, in Mexico City, a Jewish community with origins in 15 countries has been developing a unique cosmopolitan culinary style.
Klein’s is one of the city’s Semitic restaurants. Owner Robert Klein has a firm commitment to kosher. He buys only ritually slaughtered meat. And, to ensure that the ingredients are kosher, rabbinical cooks are on hand.
Klein’s menu is a mix of American and Mediterranean. A favorite of the Jewish customer is the salami torta. The restaurant has a full bar and a seating area outside. Its menu also features dishes like enchiladas, chilaquiles, tacos, and fajitas.
Klein’s is a great place to bring a client or business associate to see Williamsburg. The staff is very welcoming and attentive.
The food is good, but it isn’t particularly exciting. There are only a couple of items on the menu that I would personally choose. But the rest of the menu is solid, and the prices are adequate.
While there isn’t a huge variety on the menu, the meat is fresh and the food is tasty. Some people mention the excellent lemonade. Others praise the service.
Having been raised in Puebla, Mexico, Edward Klein’s wife Andrea introduced him to a host of classic Mexican dishes. They added some of their favorites to the menu, including chilaquiles and chocolate milkshakes.
While the restaurant is a tad on the small side, it does have a spacious dining room with sturdy booths. Tables are topped with ketchup, mustard, and salt and pepper shakers.
The restaurant is also 100 percent kosher. In fact, it is the only kosher Mexican restaurant on the Westside.

Serengeti isn’t the only place to try Mexican food. Many lodges in the park serve up some tasty grub, as well as some fun activities.
The Serengeti is a complex ecosystem, comprised of several habitats and species, from woodlands to riverine forests. There are also a few invasive plants to be aware of, like the Prickly Pear. In some cases, a seed from a vehicle fire can find its way into the wild, causing the serengeti to lose a lot of the original vegetation. So, it’s always a good idea to know your plant neighbors.
Some of the better food options can be found at the Serena Safari Lodge, which has an on-site restaurant. Aside from the traditional African fare, there’s also a buffet showcasing local coffee and tea. Other notable eateries include the Boma Grill, where guests can watch a Masai dance in the evening.
Another noteworthy mention is the Commiphoras, which are native to the Serengeti. They are also the most impressive trees on the planet, sporting saucer shaped, dark green leaves and large buttressed roots. Like the fig, they have a grey, smooth bark. Their leaves are also a hoot, and they produce the tiniest of tidbits, the commimal, a swoon worthy fruit.
Although the name of this particular tree has no real meaning, it’s still a great name to have on your tongue. Its succulent smelling fruits are popular with giraffes and zebras. On top of being a good source of food, the palm tree produces a squeaky sap that is used to make palm wine, a delicious treat for discerning diners.
For the best and most comprehensive guide to all things food and drink in the park, check out our Serengeti guide, which includes restaurants, hotel and resort reviews and guides to all the major safari camps and lodges.

What Authentic Mexican Flavors Await at Mexikosher?

Mexican food is a staple in Los Angeles and there is now a kosher version of this cuisine available. There are now two restaurants in the city that offer a full menu of kosher Mexican dishes.
Mexikosher opened in 2011. Its owner is Katsuji Tanabe, a Japanese-Mexican chef who grew up in Mexico and is half-Jewish. He worked at Shiloh’s Kosher Steakhouse, Bastide, and Mastro’s.
When he returned to Los Angeles, he wanted to break into the food industry. So he started out with catering and later created his own blogs. This led to a catering job and eventually to the Israeli restaurant that he now owns.
He is also the owner of Mexikosher in Los Angeles. He has expanded the restaurant to the Upper West Side of Manhattan and plans to open a new restaurant in Los Angeles called Baranda.
At Mexikosher, you can order burritos, nachos, and other traditional Mexican foods but with a kosher twist. The restaurant’s awning reads “Finally Real Mexican Kosher,” and the door displays certifications of kosher status.
Tanabe says his goal is to make food appeal to people of all tastes and religions. He uses a mix of spices and other ingredients to create his dishes. For example, he makes his carnitas from duck fat instead of pork.
The meats used in the restaurant are raised and sourced from New Mexico. Guajillo peppers are the main source of flavor in Mexican cuisine. They are smoked and pureed. A chef will spend 10 hours cooking them.
Tanabe also uses his own nixtamal, which he grinds himself for handmade corn tortillas. To ensure a high kosher standard, he uses a local Vaad Hakashrus to oversee the kitchen and serve only the freshest ingredients.
